A Land More Kind than Home

Wiley Cash

Fiction 2012 / 309 pages

100 pages in and the story still has not left, physically or emotionally, a painful, engulfing, charismatic southern church in North Carolina, with hands-on healing, and speaking/singing in tongues, and guilt-induced sermons.  It is topped only by a despicable pastor.  I cannot take any more if it.  I quit.
